God loves us, yet it’s difficult to sometimes accept

I’ve been trying to keep a positive frame of mind lately, despite the negative things life throws. I have been reading my Bible, and trying to take on as many sermons by Joyce Meyer as possible, and things that basically keep me on form. and looking ahead and looking to God, in more of a positive way.

I really admire Joyce and her outlook on life. She makes me laugh many a times with things she says and I think she is spot on too in her sermons.

I am really trying to grasp at the moment is accepting how much God loves me. I find it hard with the struggles I have had and continue to have. It can almost divert us from accepting God’s love, if we think of our struggles too much.

In reality, whatever we think, God does love us whoever we are and whatever we do, and even though our lives may be messy, we are broken, rejected, and don’t feel worthy sometimes,  we need to keep on trusting God, that He loves us for who we are, and let Him make the most our of our situations.

A verse came to mind today regarding this subject:

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
