It’s funny, what sometimes I think about when I have been to appointments and things.
I was looking at the equipment at my appointment at the heart hospital yesterday, and thinking how amazing technology really is that even just having an echo, you can see detailed pictures of your heart and how its working.
As I looked at the photo’s on the screen once the echo had been done, I was quite alarmed if it’s easy for us to see how our body works through technology, how easy it is for God to examine our hearts and thoughts daily.
Now, some of you might not get what I mean, some of you might, I kinda think these things when you have to sit and wait around for things for so long! God really does use my time of waiting to bring things to attention!
But, yes I sat there and I thought. What does my heart look like? Does it look pure and lovely, and admirable, or does it look not very admirable?
You see God knows us, He knows our thoughts, our ways and He knows every step we take. But it’s up to us to maintain the way our hearts and mind are kept, and through our daily time with Him each day we will see these things change.
Here is a verse that has come to mind today. This is what I would like God to see my heart like I shall be pondering on this for a while.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.
